Round 1 Touch Orange Series

The new touch rugby season in the Netherlands kicked off in Amsterdam, where clubs from across the country gathered for the first round of the 2024/2025 Oranje series. With warm sunshine and a lively atmosphere, it was a perfect start to the season.

Teams competed on the rugby club’s main pitch, a fitting location after the exciting summer break and the Touch World Cup. Special thanks to XXX Amsterdam for organising and to the two referees, who worked an impressive four-hour shift and ensured the games ran smoothly.

Touch was played everywhere that weekend, with other clubs in development coming together in Doetinchem on Friday night for a social tournament. A nice coincidence to celebrate the start of the new touch season.



The excitement is now building for the next round in Rotterdam on October 19th, where we look forward to seeing all the teams, players, referees and supporters for one big event!
