Referee signals are an important means of communication during the game. Only those few players close to you will hear most referees' decisions clearly, but with signals everyone can see them. The use of signals allows sideline referees, players, coaches and spectators to understand the referee's decisions.
A video has been put together on Touch referee hand signals. We hope this will be a fun and useful way to help new referees learn some of the signals we use during matches.
There are a number of rule changes that FIT (Federation of International Touch) has implemented in the International Touch tournaments. FIT has issued guidelines to help referees, coaches and players prepare. On this page you can download a number of files regarding the rules of Touch Rugby.
