Touch is an ideal sport for all ages, as it combines the traditional values of sportsmanship and teamwork associated with rugby with the unique aspects of Touch, where boys and girls of all ages compete as equals.
More and more youngsters are taking up Touch across the Netherlands, which also offers a pathway all the way to representing the Netherlands on the international stage. Join our journey!
Junior training takes place year-round every second Sunday morning in Leiden where all juniors regardless of ability are provided with an opportunity to learn the game and develop their skills. In preparation for the Junior Touch Championships this year, weekly training on a Sunday starts in June and is supported by training and social touch provided at each club across the country.
This year, Touch NL will be sending a mixed U/18 team to the Junior Touch Championships, which will be held in Paris from 16-18 August. More details on the event can be found at the European Federation of Touch website.

Teams, referees and support staff from across Europe are busy preparing for the event, as are hosts Touch France and Touch Europe to bring an occasion for the future of the sport to remember!
The venue will be the National Rugby Center at 5 Rue Jean de Montaigu, 91460 Marcoussis.
The Netherlands has been proud to send teams to the JTC each year and 2019 will be no different. In participating , the juniors get to enjoy the honour of representing their country and playing and meeting new people from across Europe and the Middle East.
