HRC Touch can officially call itself champion of the Netherlands.

The Hague team, coached by Jon MacDonald, won the Cup based on the number of tries scored.

The first edition of the Dutch Cup took place at URC in Utrecht.

The conditions looked good and the organization had pulled out all the stops to make it a great day.

This edition saw 4 teams competing for first place.

FIT has decided that every country affiliated with FIT must have a competition in which the rankings must be played.

This also allows us to see which clubs are eligible to participate in the Club Championship, the European

Club championships.

This can be compared to the Champions League from the football world.

Matches were led by 6 referees: Barbara Garcia, Gavin Maduro, Stef Fridd, Jules, Eric Besnard and Ian Small.

This team was also supplemented with Player Refs to help them out, with each match having 3 referees available.

At the end of the Dutch Cup Gavin Maduro received his Level 1 Referee Badge for his skillful performance, congratulations! Amsterdam Touch, HRC Touch and URC Touch made it an exciting edition where the 3 teams finished on the same number of points

in the rankings.

The 3 teams had all won 2x and lost 1x, based on the tries scored. HRC Touch had the upper hand, but the Top 3 had shown that everyone can beat each other.

During the Award Ceremony, the MVP Female and Male were also nominated.

Among women this award was won by: Armance Toeset (HRC Touch)

And for the men by: Florent Galy (Eindhoven Touch)
