Touch Rugby Open Day for Juniors

Touch Nederland and Touch Den Haag are organizing a Touch Rugby Open Day in The Hague on Sunday, November 19.

With this they want to give a platform to young people who would like to come into contact with Touch Rugby, where your background in terms of sport, gender or nationality does not matter.

The idea for this day is to introduce young people to Touch Rugby.

After all, with Touch Rugby there is minimal contact compared to Rugby, as we know from Rugby. While Rugby the emphasis is mainly on tackling, Touch Rugby is more of a sport where interval

and the minimal contact increases the dynamics during the sport, which can happen at a rapid pace.

Regarding future plans, goals have also been set for what Touch Netherlands can do for young people. A major goal is to send youth teams to international tournaments, including the European Championship and World Cup.

But also the social aspect of offering Touch Rugby for everyone who wants to exercise and have fun.

With this they want to send a signal that there is room for everyone who enjoys fun and/or competition,
